		A partnership between the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and European Partners for the Environment (composed of NGOs, trade unions and local authorities)has proposed an EU Sustainability Strategy to the EU Commission. The Strategy would promote eco-efficiency, sustainability convergence criteria and a green purchasing strategy.
